The Delaware Treatment Committee’s Domestic Violence Coordinating Council will meet on July 11 from 10 to noon at the Middletown Police Department, 130 Hampden Road. The nature of the discussion will be to ensure the quality and effectiveness of offender treatment which is essential to promoting violence free behavior and enhancing victim safety. The Committee develops and reviews intervention policies for those convicted of battery and sets forth procedures to mandate specific credentials, education and training for treatment providers. They also will outline the components required for program content.
