by Super User

The mayor and council of Townsend will introduce a resolution calling for the removal of their Town Manager Dawson Green. The mayor and council will meet at 7pm on Wednesday July 18 for their workshop at Town Hall, 141 Main Street, and one of the agenda items is a discussion and possible vote on Resolution 2018-2 which calls for the removal of the Town Manager. After the July 11 regular mayor and council meeting, the council met in executive session to discuss strategy sessions, including legal advice or opinion from attorney, due to collective bargaining or potential litigation and personnel matters.

The mayor and council will also discuss and possibly vote on incorporating new PNC finance software into their bill collection and bank payments into the town’s accounting system.
