Troopers Arrest Three Suspects on Felony Drug Charges- Smyrna

Smyrna– The Kent County Governor’s Task Force (GTF) have arrested three suspects after a probation check led to the discovery of drugs.

On March 17, 2020, at approximately 7:54 p.m., a probation check at a residence in the 1200 block of Alabam Road, Smyrna, was conducted in regards to 32-year-old Anthony R. Ball, of Smyrna and 38-year-old William J. Zebroski of Townsend.  Upon contact both Ball and Zebroski were observed in the kitchen area of the residence where approximately 19.60 grams of meth and drug paraphernalia were located.  Zebroski, a known gang member, was also found to be in possession of an additional 2.46 grams of meth on his person.

In addition, 27-year-old Shannon M. Muscheck of Smyrna was located at the residence.  Muscheck who is also on probation was found to be in possession of approximately 7.3 grams of meth and drug paraphernalia.

An administrative search of the residence was conducted and additional drug paraphernalia and approximately 7.36 grams of meth were located.

All three suspects were transported back to Troop 3 where they were charged with the following:

Anthony Ball:

  • Possession With Intent To Deliver a Controlled Substance Tier 2 Quantity
  • Possession of Controlled Substance Tier 2 Quantity
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Ball was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $6100.00 secured bond.

William Zebroski:

  • Possession With Intent To Deliver a Controlled Substance Tier 2 Quantity
  • Possession of Controlled Substance Tier 2 Quantity
  • Illegal Gang Participation
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Zebroski was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $6050.00 secured bond. 

Shannon Muscheck:

  • Possession of Controlled Substance Tier 1 Quantity
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Muscheck was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and released on her own recognizance.
