The Delaware State Police arrested 41-year-old Christopher Lyons of New Castle, Delaware for possessing stolen property after troopers were called to a campsite yesterday afternoon.

Troopers also discovered that the Ford F-150 was reported stolen by the New Castle County Police Department in August 2022. Additionally, Lyons was wanted by both Troop 1 and the Wilmington Police Department for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.

Lyons was taken to Troop 7 and charged with the following crimes:

  • Receiving Stolen Property Over $1,500 (Felony)
  • Receiving Stolen Property Under $1,500 – 2 counts
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Lyons was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $2,050 cash and $4,000 secured bonds.
