State Police Detectives Investigating Homicide

The Delaware State Police are investigating a homicide that occurred in Dover yesterday evening after a woman was found dead inside her residence.

On June 25, 2023, at approximately 5:20 p.m., troopers responded to Case Ridge Road in Wolf Creek in Dover for a report of a 72-year-old woman found dead inside of her bedroom. Due to the circumstances surrounding the victim’s death, the Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation. The victim’s name is being withheld until her family and relatives are notified.

No suspect information is currently available. The Homicide Unit is still actively investigating this incident. Detectives are asking for anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective B. McDerby by calling 302-741-2821.
