State Police Investigating Burglaries at Swim Club

The Delaware State Police are investigating multiple burglaries that occurred last week at Oakwood Valley Swim Club in Wilmington.

On July 18, 2023, at approximately 9:16 a.m., troopers responded to the Oakwood Valley Swim Club located at 4909 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, for a report of a burglary. Troopers discovered an unknown suspect trespassed onto the property when it was closed, damaged a lock box, and stole money.

On July 20, 2023, at approximately 9:03 a.m., troopers responded to the swim club for a second report of a burglary. Troopers discovered an unknown suspect trespassed onto the swim club’s property when it was closed, damaged a door, and stole several items.

There is no description for the suspect at this time. Surveillance images and video are not yet available.

The Troop 2 Burglary Unit is investigating this incident. Detectives are asking for anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective M. Young by calling 302-834-2620.
