State Police Investigating Stabbing

The Delaware State Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early this morning in Dover that left one man injured.

On July 25, 2023, at approximately 1:31 a.m., troopers responded to the 200 block of North Governors Boulevard in Capitol Park regarding an argument that was heard during a 9-1-1 call. Troopers arrived and found a 34-year-old man who had been stabbed in his left hand by an unknown black male. The suspect had fled the scene and troopers were unable to locate him in the surrounding area.

The victim was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. There is no further suspect description, and there are no surveillance images or videos available.

The Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating this incident. Detectives are asking for anyone with information regarding this case to contact Detective F. Ofner by calling 302-698-8555.
