Wilmington Man Arrested On Drug Charges After Wednesday Traffic Stop Near St. Georges

A Wilmington man was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop near St. Georges. The Delaware State Police reported that on Wednesday, April 11, around 9:25am, a trooper doing a patrol on Rt. 1 northbound just north of the Roth Bridge observed a green Honda Accord with a seatbelt violation. After stopping the vehicle, the officer detected an odor of marijuana and a search revealed 353 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Arrested was 19-year-old Mosi L. Howell of Wilmington who was taken into custody and transported to Troop 9 in Odessa where he was charged with various drug charges along with driving without a seat belt and driving without a license. He was released on $3,000 unsecured bond.
