Appoquinimink Boys Soccer Loses State Championship

Appoquinimink High School fell short in their bid to win the state boy’s soccer championship. The #2 seeded Jaguars fell to #1 seed Salesianum 2-1 in Smyrna. It was the 8th straight boy’s Division 1 state soccer championship for the Sals. Bryce Wallace scored two goals for the Sals and Emmett McCloskey had nine saves. Anthony Dina scored the lone goal for the Jaguars on a penalty kick.
